Well, I had one up. I really did. It was my first photomanipulation, and I was extremely proud of it, but I was hoping to get some good critique for me to improve on WD [not going to say, but if you know the inital, you might know the site]. I was feeling pretty good when the moderators gave me some good critique that made me feeling positive. Then a member comes along and gives me 'critique'. Personally, it felt like bashing. I asked for some basic critique. You know, the beginner mistakes that I needed work on, but this indidivual just keeps going and going. Honestly, I couldn't swallow it all because I knew what was wrong with it, but I had no idea how to fix it. It was basically this is what's wrong with your sucky picture.

I welcome Critique with open arms, but that felt too much like bashing to me. Perhaps not bashing persay, but destructive criticism might be a better term. Maybe I don't know what critique really is. Some insight perhaps? This might have been the completely wrong this to do, but I simply deleted my account and then deleted the deviation and went on with this letter. I know this sounds like I'm being a big baby, but, after all that positive comments, I just feel so gosh darn lousy. I probably won't be making any images like that with my brand new Wacom Bamboo Tablet. Expect SOMETHING by the end of the year. I'm tired to logging on DA every few days, looking at all the wonderful entries, and not having anything like that myself. I don't think I'm close to freehanding a drawing on my tablet. I think I'll take up the BIG ASS ART CHALLENGE I saw on Autumnalone's journal a while back.

Dang, I feel so mad right now. My spoiled right cousin came to my house after the football game as I got out of my uniform [i'm in the highschool band], he destroyed my sketch book. So no adequate drawings, no paper for drawing, and I can't draw using photoshop yet.

I am saving up to get a tablet though. It will probably be a 4x5 one since I am one poor little thing. I don't think it will be a big difference to a 6x8 one. If the small amount of people read this entry knows this, please tell me.
